CIENFUE

Cienfue alternative rock in spanish laced with Panamanian folklore, shamanism and social lyrical content. Cienfue's first record, "El Disco es Cultura", was released in late 2005. "The Record is Culture" managed to infiltrate MTV latin with 3 videos, including the underwater video for "Medio Alcoholico Melancolico", which reached the number 4 spot on the 10 most wanted list.

"El Disco es Cultura" reached number 39 on the list of 2006's 50 best albums, according to Rolling Stone magazine Latinamerica. That same year, Cienfue won 3 PanamaRock awards, for Best Solo Artist, Breakthrough Artist and Video of the Year.

Cienfue is actually working on his second album, which he plans to launch early 2008, and includes songs featuring indigenous artist Audri Yala and panamanian singer songwriter Pepe Calavera, who is also a part of Solo Records.
